This could get messy

Doing some research for a user group talk on the Reactive Extensions for .NET, and found them described by a MSDN commenter as “the ultimate power tool to orchestrate potentially an arbitrary number [of] concurrently running workflows made up of composable monad chains.”

Yes, that will do nicely to pull in the Visual Basic crowd.

The same commenter speaks of a “reactive functional programming brain inversion process,” so I had better ask Owen to put down some sheets.
